F&N 4th Quarter 2017 Financial Report

Frankly speaking,
I was totally shocked when I first saw F&N's quarter result.....
The profit dropped so much!!

Then I calmed down and realized that
F&B Malaysia is going through re-structuring process,
so the temporary restructuring cost is unavoidable.

Of course,
I downloaded the latest financial report and presentation slides to support my thought.

So:

The profit dropped hugely was because of restructuring cost....
But bear in mind that even without the restructuring cost,
the profit still dropped more than 20%.....

Then F&B Thailand:

The profit rose more than 20%~
Here dropped there rose,
overall F&N profit still a bit worse if comparing with last year.....

Currently management's planning is to grow export markets:
Such a wonderful planning~

So how was the export performance for this year:

Erm....
They really didn't talk only,
they did put in action.

The planning for future exports:

Two key words: Growing Exports & Halal Market.

The future planning of F&B Thailand:

F&B Malaysia:

Next year will extract value of integration and
launch record number of new products~

The planning of capability and capacity expansion:

That's all for the presentation slides.

I have to praise that F&N really excellent in preparing the presentation slides,
there are full of passions and hopes for every pages.
It is able to make readers to grow more confidence at F&N and feel like want to accumulate more F&N shares.

However,
there are so many questions need to think about before buying more F&N shares.......

The revenue of F&B Malaysia kept dropping....
How much positive effects will the restructuring bringing??

As for F&B Thailand,
the main focus is Brand Building in Indochina area for 2018.
How much promotion expenses will be to achieve this target??

As for export,
is the profit margin high enough?
Can F&N really earn a lot from export markets?

Investment is all about the thinkings did by ourselves,
and the decisions made by ourselves.

Thanks for reading.

I don't provide any buying/selling suggestion above,
please make your own investment decision and be responsible with it.
